About Slender Wave Cavi-Lipo Ultrasound

Slender Wave Cavi-Lipo has been helping people look slimmer and younger since 2013. Services are provided by Monica Cavanaugh and her staff of technicians.

Monica Cavanaugh attended Modern Technology School where she earned a prestigious internship at Los Angeles County Hospital USC. She graduated in 2006 with a certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Since graduation, Monica has been working as an Ultrasound Technologist. One of her first jobs was doing ultrasound scanning for a medical research company, where physicians at Harvard Medical School approved her scans for inclusion in the studies

Since 2007 Monica has specialized in medical ultrasound for the diagnosis of superficial chronic venous insufficiency and other venous diseases, as well as assisting numerous doctors during venous ablation procedures. To date, Monica estimates that she has assisted in over 1,500 venous ablation procedures and is considered by others in the vein field to be an expert in vein sonography. She is currently studying to take the Registered Phlebology Sonographer examination.

Monica Cavanaugh is fully vaccinated and looking forward to welcoming clients to Slender Wave.
